Tanto Cuore App Reviews

Creepy, sexist, misogynistic, molesty

Why, Playdek? This is beneath you. It’s disgusting.

Oh joy!

Addictive game. Plays like other popular mainstream deck builders. You buy maids for personal gain and give your rival maids bad manners and illness. A lovely game over a cup of tea. Vibrant card artwork and smooth gameplay. App is easy on the eyes via iPad2. Great game for the price.

A true guilty pleasure

Who would have thought buying maids with images that provide so much fan-service it is almost unreal would be so much fun. This is a perfect translation of the actual card game and it is always something different each time you play. I only hope they create the expansions in the future to add so much more to this game.

Fantastic card game ever!!!

This is the best Japanese card game I ever played of all time I am so glad that they made it into a app. Hugde fan of the game I am looking froward to be playing more!

Expansions!~

PLEASE bring in the expansions to this lovely game! I need more! <3

Can’t help but keep playing

I first learned about the Tanto Cuore card game in a session at Anime Central 2014, but I’ve played far more of the iOS game than the actual card game (I’m not actually much of a tabletop gamer). Tanto Cuore on iPad a quick pick-up-and play, taking about 10 minutes. The presentation of the cards flying around with cute maid-girl Japanese voices is perfect (for its target audience, that is… one look at the screenshots will tell you if this is your thing or not). The developers have really gone the extra mile by including Game Center achievement support and networked head-to-head play for 2-4 players, all of which has worked flawlessly for me. Only downside is that after probably 100 games, I feel like the original cards are played out. There are two expansion games in physical form (with a third coming), but there’s no sign of them in the iOS app. It might be an ideal leveraging of the game engine for a future update to keep the basic game cheap or free, and offer the expansions as in-app purchases. Still, if you’re OK with the concept, it’s cute fun, with rich gameplay and superb presentation.

Expansion pack?

I love this game, but it would be better with more cards to play.

NEEDS THE EXPANSION PACKS

While the game is good, none of the expansion packs are available! If you made these an in-game optional purchase Im sure plenty of people would buy it. Are you listening playdek?

Wish to see the other sets added!

I play both the cards and the app for this title. It is great playing the app when I do not have other players around for the cards. However, I wish to see them relese the other releses for Tanto Cuore in the app as well. The others added a lot of things that I wish we had available for the app as well. All in all it is a fun game with simple machanics with loads of replay options.

Brutally Fun ;D Thoughtfully Strategic, Gameplay Driven!

The review left by "eruptionsworld" is a very accurate description of this game when playing online multiplayer especially for the first time as a new Master of the House. Despite this games utter brutality, I can never help but feel deep stirrings of utter bemusement after being thoroughly thoroughly roughed up by a horde of cliche anime type maid characters. ;) The gameplay here is solid; if youre looking for a good thoughtfully designed balanced strategy dependent deck-builder, this is it! If youre unsure about this game and/or app, you can get a good feel for it by watching videos on YouTube. For providing all players with such a small pool of cards, the gameplay itself leaves the player many many ways to go about winning (if said player is up to par! ;D ) I imagine that experienced deck builderists will find this game quite easy to jump into though even as a deck-building novice, it wasnt especially difficult for me to learn (however, becoming skilled in this games strategy and nuance is an entirely different story) after reading through the online manual then playing through the in-game tutorial. The game can feel a little overwhelming for a new player especially in regards to multiplayer at first, since the game is easily played very quickly (the cards move around the screen quite fast and your opponents draw pile, hand, and discard pile cant be viewed. Against a skilled player rapidly purchasing cards and deploying his maids like the conniving master that he is, you may not know the particulars of just what is going on! This game can move FAST! Theres no undos, redoes, or replays. If you missed something or made a mistake, youll have to suffer the consequences and make do. :) ) I also personally like the theme due to its uniqueness and silliness! No armies, dungeons, zombies, etc. Only anime maids! The light-hearted theme keeps the game focused on the gameplay itself since anime maids are not to be taken too seriously (unlike vengeance driven blood thirsty war lords). In regards to the maid concept, I would never have came up with such an idea myself! Of all the 100s of games that Ive purchased (I only wish this was an exaggeration...); this game is by far my favorite! For the deep gameplay, the content included by the app developers, and the fluidity of the app, I would have easily paid $30! Some other features that I want to highlight include: each maid speaks a short unique-per-card well voice acted phrase in Japanese when played, music and/or sound volume can be adjusted or muted, the app includes a rule-book and interactive tutorial, the single player A.I is adjustable in difficulty, pass-and-play is supported, theres a card gallery, and the game supports both real time and time interval multiplayer! You can even invite friends for specific matches! In multiplayer, your stats are tracked such as win/loss rate and the account that you create is usable with the multiplayer features of the other apps created by this developer! Ive always been a long time fan of deck-building/TCG games (but Ive only played such games very few times.)! Now, I can finally have the card fix Ive always wanted!!! I cant wait to improve! :) Im "slyfin" on multiplayer; Maybe well play together someday! Feel free to invite me to a match any time! The base game is perfectly fine by itself, but I also look forward to the possibility of the expansion sets being added similar to this developers other app Ascension.

Entertaining, Minor Flaws, and Expansion Request

One of my favorite apps to play! It’s amusing to win, lose, and improve when playing against the “robot” or online players. A fun deck-building game with adequate variety of cards that can be manipulated with different forms of strategy. The game sometimes lags and I’d have to restart my iPad to fix the problem. Also, when I try to open the app from the game update pop ups, the app lags. I wish the game developer updated the app for bug fixes. I wish Expansion packs were an available option for the game. I’ll be willing to pay for the add on! It would make the game more entertaining and dynamic.

Great game ... Want more

Expansions!!! Please. Ive been patient but its been several years now with no expansions.
